Well it's Humpy Wednesday LOL, and the count down is to just 1 day for Thanksgiving. I'm making my Pumpkin Pies now. Yum. Here's some fresh [img]graemlins/coffee.gif[/img] with some fresh Pumpkin Chocolate Chip cookies I just made. Warm out of the oven.

Hey it's Humpday! No wait....since it's a three day w*rk week I was, technically speaking, over the hump at about 2:00 yesterday!
I wish I'd thunk of that at the time! It would have been nice to know I was on the downill side! Well at least I'll know this morning, whilst I'm working my tale off, that I'm actually on easy street!

Well NYJ....what can I say? I intended to leave a lot more of those cookies yesterday for others to enjoy but they were just soooo delicious I may have over-induldged too much! Sorry 'bout that!
Speaking of over-indulging. I really shouldn't have gone back for seconds and if I'd known there was going to be pie too I wouldn't have and my Thankgiving dinner would not be weighing so heavily on me now!
I had a GRRRREAT time over there CCfan but I am still stuffed!

NYJ, how did the shopping go?
I just finished all my shopping via the internet! Gotta love that!
I talked daddy CCfan into going to Target today to get the baby's food. He didn't seem to mind.
Well anyways, happy Friday, Saturday and Sunday to everyone!
I went out shopping for a while yesterday. What a mob! All that pushing and shoving!!!!

The four day weekend is more than half over but I am not going to think about it!
I'm concentrating on relaxation for four days. There are no buts, ands or if's about it. I will not be swayed from being lazy!!!

My two youngest step daughters are with us this holiday weekend. We had NOT planned on doing any shopping but Our 15 year old decided that she wanted to make us a Saturday Mexican Dinner... Guess who <s>volenteered</s> got drafted to go and fight and bully the masses, Yes it was me. First the weather here in beanfield country is COLD, rainy with threats of snow mixed in.
The parking lot of our local Super Walmart was filled with cars following people with shopping carts to thier cars and waiting as they filled thier trunks with thier bounty.
I being of the impatient type parked out in the outskirts of the lot and ran (as much as a 300 lb love toy can) yelling fer the girls to wait up (yea right as I lose sight I can hear thier laughter).
The only shopping carts are the ones that the handlers are bringing in from the outside (I love grabbing a cold rain dripping shopping cart with three rolling wheels).
I try to avoid some of the shoppers by avoiding action alley and side stepping toys & electronics and going down the bedding aisle (yes I do spend a lota time in Walmart)
We grab our secret ingredients for Sarahs Dinner and I play snowplow as we force our way to an cashier. What normally takes about 15 minutes has turned into a blood pressure raising, sore footed, and thats not on the list, hour and a half Shopping spree.
Mrs Ella and the girls are at home cooking up a meal fit for...Me. I now sit in the realative quite of the public library enjoying the company of my friends on the hostboard, before venturing back out into the cruel cold world of reality.

The shopping went pretty well CC/fan. There was a mob but, I got through like a wild [img]graemlins/cat.gif[/img] on a hot tin roof. Tee, hee... Meowwwwwww... [img]wink.gif[/img]
I just got in and I made a pot of [img]graemlins/coffee.gif[/img] and I'm having a slice of [img]graemlins/pizza.gif[/img] for dinner. Yum...
